A new version of Xailer 2.0 alfa is available.

The great improvement of this release is the multiprocess compilation which gains a lot of speed.

The install file can be downloaded from the following link:

It requires also a new version of xHarbour that can be downloaded from the following link:

We remind you that this version is only available to active registered users. For further information consult the article Xailer 2.0 news and enhancements on this same blog.

Finally, just to comment that we will really appreciate all your suggestions or comments about the new features you want to see on Xailer 2.0. We encourage you to use this same blog to do it.

I have been able to verify previous products and all things seem good.
For the case have landed on a link in xHarbour Community
which speaks of a component used in CAD digicad environment xHarbour and then xAiler.
I could receive more information about it.

    Thank you

    Hi

    Here are my suggestions :

Support for TCP/IP Sockets and Multi-Threading so you could build web server like components similar to what is available for xBase++ using Xb2.net.

I also would like to see a complete serial port class with read and write methods and callbacks etc.

String compression, JSON and encryption classes using SHA, RSA, Blowfish etc. for strings and files as is available for VFP via tools found at http://www.sweetpotatosoftware.com/SPSBlog/default.aspx

One other wish would be the ability to produce applications that run on Linux. I do not necessarily need Xailer to run in Linux I would just like to produce executables that run on Linux. Basicaly I would like to be able to choose to compile for Linux or Windows.

    Thanks,
    Simon
